Nnedi Okorafor’s Book, ‘Who Fears Death’, Will be Turned Into A TV Series

Award-winning Nigerian fantasy/science fiction writer, Nnedi Okoraforannounced on Twitter his tweeter  her novel, Who Fears Death, has been optioned and is being developed into a TV show series by HBO and is now been.

the show will be executively produced by George R.R. Martin  the author of best-selling fantasy series of  books Game of Thrones which has also seen huge success on the screen which he also was an executive producer
the book is about  a powerful girl, Onyesonwu, whose mother survived rape and the annihilation of their village, she is forced to fight for her life and against discrimination in a magical journey..she is said to be fully involed in the project as she and the EP have been friends.
“I am very involved. I also know George well (we met in 2014 and I stayed in touch); he’s been a sort of mentor to me through all this. And all those involved know what this story is; Onyesonwu is in good good hands.”
recently the beast of no nation which was written by a Nigerian also enjoyed on screen prominence even the the subject matter varies the stories are fantastic stories which are worth the attention the are getting.
