Samuel Eto’o Foundation to support 100,000 in Cameroon

As the world fights the dreaded corona virus, efforts by government and individuals can not go unnoticed. Samuel Eto’o the Former Cameroonian international said that he is going to support the country’s fight against corona virus. In statment he released, the former football star said that he intends to support 100,000 people with supplies of soap, sanitizers, and food items, he said that this support was going to come through his foundation, he also noted that this 100,000 people were listed as his foundations primary target.



Beneficiaries:

the foundation has air-marked 50,000 households in four cities – these cities are (Douala, Buea, Yaoundé and Bafoussam) also, another 50,000 protective face masks will also be supplied to the taxi drivers in the country as the are exposed to the virus as the convay people from one place to the other.

the foundation acknowledged that the corona virus pandemic is a serious humanitarian crisis and proper sanitation and the distribution of health kits can help curb the the spread of corona virus.

they have implemented a closed border policy , all sporting activities has been suspended but but the country is yet to impose a lock down.
