Tiwa Savage is reported to have left Don Jazzy’s Record Label, Mavin’s Record. And she has also penned down her signature in Favor of a record deal with Universal Music Group.
Her departure makes her the second person to leave Don jazzy’s record label. Some weeks back rekado banks announced his departure from the record label after his contract with them elapsed.

Tiwa Savage joined don jazzy’s Mavin’s record 7 years ago when Mo’Hits Records was shutdown,. During her stay at mavin, tiwa savage was considered the first lady of the music label.
In a reaction after the signing, Adam Granite, Executive Vice President, Market Development, Universal Music Group said,

Reacting to the move, Don jazzy wrote on his Instagram the following farewell message
“Our darling Tiwatope. We at Mavin would like to say a very big thank you for being such an inspiration to all of us, a friend, a sister. It’s been an epic journey with you and we are very proud of what we have achieved together.
“As you start this new chapter in your life we want you to know that we are solidly behind you and can’t wait for the world to see what we have always believed you can be. Your jersey as the First Lady of Mavin will forever be yours as we do not intend to fill that position with anyone else.
“We love you from the bottom of heart and pray GOD’s blessings continue to follow you. Amennnn.”
